I alter a large number of trousers each week, and it’s surprising how many require adjustments. This week alone, I have tapered and shortened work trousers, removed and reattached zips and Velcro on black trousers after shortening them, and shortened several pairs of trousers as well as joggers.

So many of this year’s prom dresses have been covered in glitter, and I’m currently altering a stunning gold sparkly wedding dress. I can’t wait till I can share it with you, once the bride has had her big day.

What a beautiful wedding dress!

This gown featured a delicate scalloped hem, which had to be carefully removed so the dress could be shortened before being meticulously reapplied. The shoulders were also lifted to create the perfect fit, ensuring Bethany Hardingham felt both comfortable and confident on her special day.
