Optimum Corner Optimum Corner is home to Swindon and Devizes Sling Library, Optimum Bumps and Optimum Nursing Bras. The best address to use for satnav is 1 Waylands SN10 3DN.

Optimum Corner is a cosy, intimate venue, suitable for one-to-one and small groups meetings. The building is on the corner of Eastleigh Road and Waylands, in Devizes. Although the postal address is Eastleigh Road, the entrance is on Waylands. There is on-site parking for 5 cars, as well as plenty of free parking on the road. If you would like to use our space, for other bump, birth and baby related meetings and events, do please get in contact to discuss this.

A reminder that Devizes, Melksham and Calne Breastfeeding Support is not running this afternoon. But it will be back next week, in a newly painted Optimum Corner.

Today was supposed to be the last day of painting. But it looks like we're going to need an extra day. Luckily nothing has been booked in for tomorrow. But we do need to make sure tomorrow is the last day, as we've got a using a stretchy wrap with your newborn workshop running on Sunday.

Optimum Corner will be closed, while we give it a lick of paint, from Thursday 21st until Friday 29th May.

No groups will run, and no sling consults or bra fittings will take place during this time.

However if you have a sling or TENS machine to return, this can be arranged.

Here is a list of the groups and workshops, running at Optimum Corner, over the next few weeks.

Devizes Breastfeeding Support is a free drop-in group, with no need to book. Optimum Bumps is also free, but does require booking. And the starting solids and using a stretchy wrap with your newborn workshops are paid for events.

On Sunday 31st May Swindon and Devizes Sling Library are running an interactive session on stretchy wraps. The aim of which is for new and expectant parents to learn how to safely and comfortably use a stretchy wrap with their baby.

It is suitable for expectant parents or parents with young babies, who are either considering buying a sling or who already have a stretchy wrap and want to ensure they are using it correctly.
If participants already have a stretchy wrap, they should bring it along with them. But if they don't, that's fine, as the library has plenty for them to use.

Stretchy wraps are best suited to babies under 4 months of age, therefore the session is best suited to those whose babies have not yet been born, or whose babies will be less than 3 months old, on the date of the session.

For those attending before their baby is born, there are suitably sized and weighted demo dolls.
