Say hello to August’s Furnishing Fabric of the Month: Magician’s Stripe!

Swipe to the last 2 slides in this post for our take on why this particular make is exceptional for reasons than you may not expect 🤩

A bold upholstery wool twill in purple and multicoloured stripes, usually destined for a sofa, but Kim had other ideas.
She made hers into a pair of Juno Pants, and honestly, we love the surprise.

She first came through the doors of the Mill Shop as a little girl, sewing alongside her mum, learning the skills the same way her mum learned from her grandma👵

Needle and thread, passed down like the best family heirlooms. Sound familiar? A lot of you learned exactly the same way🩷

Some of you may even have memories of Chloe serving you in our Mill Shop several years ago🛍️

Her own makes have brought more of our fabrics to life than we can count, and since moving onto the Online team she’s poured herself into The Pattern Stash from the ground up and much more behind the scenes of Fabworks Online🧵

Now Chloe’s off to start her next chapter, training to become a teacher👩🏻‍🏫

Side note: The Pattern Stash isn’t going anywhere. Every pattern you love stays exactly where it is, and we’re working through what comes next behind the scenes 👀
