🎙️ WE’RE LIVE… OUR PODCAST STUDIO IS FINALLY COMPLETE! 🎉

After weeks of planning and hard work, we’re delighted to reveal our brand new podcast studio!

We’re really pleased with how it has turned out, and we have to say… the acoustic panels have made an incredible difference to the sound quality. Combined with our professional recording equipment, it’s the perfect space to record podcasts, interviews and discussions.

We’re now looking forward to launching a series of FREE community podcasts, giving local charities, community groups, businesses, clubs and organisations the chance to share their stories, promote events and let people know about the fantastic work they’re doing.

🎙️ BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT SEW MINDFUL CRAFTS! 🎙️

Our podcast room is currently undergoing a major revamp and we honestly can’t wait to show you the finished result! 🤩

As you can see from these behind-the-scenes photos, work is well underway and we should be fully completed by Tuesday. The transformation is already looking amazing, and the finished space is going to provide a fantastic new community resource. 🎧✨

Once complete, we’ll be rolling out regular podcasts covering a wide range of topics from across our community.

The studio will also be available to hire!

Today’s Paper Flower Making Workshop was a huge success, with everyone creating some truly beautiful and realistic flowers. It was wonderful to see so much creativity, laughter, and concentration as participants learned new techniques and watched their bouquets come to life.

🧵💜 What a Fantastic Start to Sew Strong! 💜🧵

Today saw the very first workshop of our Sew Strong Project, funded by the amazing Weston Park Cancer Charity, and what a great session it was!

We were delighted to welcome people along. It didn’t take long for everyone to start sharing ideas, deciding what they wanted to create, and getting stuck straight into the sewing and creative activities. The room was full of conversation, laughter, support, and creativity from the very beginning.

Sew Strong has been designed to bring people together through sewing and creativity, helping to build confidence, reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and create lasting friendships in a supportive environment.

💜 The project is completely FREE to attend, so if you or someone you know has been affected by cancer and would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

We were fortunate enough to capture a photo of some of the amazing Sew Mindful Crafts team together recently! ❤️

With over 20 staff members and volunteers supporting our workshops, projects, events, and community activities, getting everyone in the same place at the same time is pretty much impossible! 😄

Behind every workshop, every cup of tea, every sewing machine set up, every grant application, and every warm welcome at the door is a dedicated team of people who give their time, skills, and energy to help make Sew Mindful Crafts what it is today.

A huge thank you to every member of our team, whether you’re pictured here or not. Your hard work, kindness, and commitment help us support hundreds of people in our community each year. 🧵💙
