🪡 This very old hand made hexagon quilt, was in the making for 60 years. Antonia’s mum started this patchwork in her 20s. Now in her 80s seeing it finished would be amazing and her dream. What an honour to do this for her. You can see from the pictures what it looked like when it came in, front and back. So many stitches. Truly a life’s work. With fabric dating back from 1940s and 1950s, from dresses she had as a child. Plus many more garment memories. I quilted 30sflower design in a pinky/peach thread. Made, attached and hand finished binding. All ready to use, enjoy and love ❤️ 🧵
