Established in the Summer of 2009, The Pied Piper opened to meet the needs of local parents seeking something different in the way of footwear for their children. Catering for boys and girls from birth to pre-teens, we quickly became proud stockists of leading brands from home and abroad such as Start Rite, Geox, Primigi and Lelli Kelly. We are known principally for our outstanding range of Back t
o School shoes and Winter Boots, many of which are waterproof (as well as beautiful!), but also stock the most gorgeous Spring and Summer shoes in the region. The Pied Piper also stocks foot-related accessories such as school socks, shoe labels, insoles and other shoe care products. Our staff are either trained in shoe-fitting by Start Rite or Hush Puppies or have undergone our own in-house training - and equally important is the fact that they all love children and you can ensure your children will always be treated with respect and patience in our store. Summer of 2013 saw the development of our website www.piedpipershoes.uk which allows parents to view a sample of our collection before visiting for a fitting. We also run a successful ‘virtual fitting’ programme called ‘Phone and Fit’ where we ‘fit’ your child based on our own notes and measurements which you supply to us. We will never sell blindly online since your children’s feet are our number one priority and we need to see, feel and touch them before we let you take a pair of shoes home.
