Last week I was invited by Kris at as a guest on their podcast talking about my journey from the beginning as an independent Fashion and Textile Designer growing a brand in Scotland as a single Mum of (now teenage) Twins, living and working through deep grief after the sudden loss of my little sister Ellie last year and lots of funny stories in between. I often struggle to share my story as I’ve been doing this my whole life and don’t tend to look back to see how far I’ve come. This podcast was a reminder 🩵. Coming into my last week of Sewing Workshops for Kids and ending a very busy Summer with my most loved Two Day Fashion Camp this Wednesday & Thursday in my Design Studio in Dundee 🧵🪡✂️

Learn the design process from the very beginning then design and make your own garment or accessory! There are TWO final places for this amazing experience where so many kids have returned time and time again since starting these in 2020 😎

Here is a wee snippet of my one day Tote Bag making workshop at the wonderful a couple of weeks ago with 10 wonderful, budding designers who had an absolute ball!! Big thanks to Cheryl & Sharron for the amazing support to create such a brilliant experience for the girls!

H•S 2 day Summer Fashion Camp for Teen’s working witj me in my design studio in Dundee🧵✂️🪡

Hundreds of kids aged 5 - 18 have travelled from all over the country to attend my 2 day Fashion Camps since I launched in 2020 and with a completely sold out date for younger kids at McManus next week, this one is for the teens!

Spending 2 full days in my design studio in Dundee, I’ll teach your child the design process from start to finish, from inspiration right through to designing and making their own garment or accessory.

Absolutely no design or sewing skills or experience are needed, your child will leave like every other, having designed and sewn up their very own creation.

Hi everyone, just a wee reminder my studio is open for collections only on certain days & times due to me being in The V&A freelance. I’m closing the studio to take time off this weekend for two weeks, this is an extremely difficult time for myself and my family so I will unfortunately not be available on my phone to reply to messages, to post / send orders that haven’t been collected on the stated studio opening times. Please kindly collect your orders over the next 2 days, if you cannot collect please email [email protected] and I will happily arrange postage. If not I’ll be back 12th July.
