Another example of a small tweak to make one of my designs more suitable to my customers taste and use… she chose the classic barrel bag design with old ancient dundee tartan panel and traded the current black colour way for navy. She also requested a spacious separate zip pocket which sits to the back of the back but sits facing the body when worn so you can easily access your valuables without opening the larger section of the bag. Loved how the tartan looks with the navy, this tartan is so versatile 👌 Is there anything you would add to make your own perfect bag?

From studio to fittings 🧵

A little behind the scenes of creating the custom KerrieALDO coat featured in The Dark on .

I started working on this piece last summer, with a tight deadline to bring the design from initial idea to final fitting and onto screen.

There was a lot to consider, the setting, the character, the fabric, the fit, and all the practical details that would make the jacket work for the Scottish wilderness, working with also to make this coat appear on the screen, the coat ties in all of this.

Such a special project to be part of, and amazing to see the finished piece being worn in the series.

Back in the studio this week after some time off 😎

Get the bag in 🌴 a little snap from my holiday featuring my parrot tapestry bag (currently OOS but l can make to order) and my fishtail t shirt dress from quite a few years back. I’m still having my summer break from the studio but I will be nipping to the post office with a bag order tomorrow. If you would like to order any of my in stock styles tonight then I’ll post tomorrow too! I’ll gradually start getting back up to date with my communications, projects and orders from next week 👋

A closer look behind the custom KerrieALDO jacket featured in The Dark on ITVX 🧵

This piece started last summer, working closely with costume designer to bring the idea to life for the character of Detective Monica Kennedy, played by .

With the series set in the Scottish wilderness, the jacket needed to feel practical, durable and true to the setting, while still having those KerrieALDO details and finishing touches.

It was a tight timeline from initial design through to the final piece you now see on screen, but such a special project to be part of.

From studio to screen, a real pinch-me moment.

The Mosaic Made-to-Order Jacket 🧵

Handcrafted from a woven tapestry fabric in a colourful mosaic-style pattern, this new jacket has a classic silhouette with subtle shaping at the side seams for an easy, flattering fit.

Finished with thoughtful details including large bottom pockets, a classic collar, silver stud button fastening, bound armholes and neckline, reinforced topstitching, and the signature KerrieALDO logo on the upper chest pocket.
