Weโre creating a city-wide network of mini food forests across Dundee โ transforming neighbourhoods into edible, biodiverse spaces full of fruit, wildlife, learning and community connection.
Let's create a food forest on every street of Dundee!
A food forest is a layered, self-sustaining growing space inspired by natural woodland ecosystems โ designed to produce food, support pollinators. And the good news is.... it becomes easier and easier to care for over time ๐
Over the next two years weโll work with 25 community groups, gardens and schools to plant thousands of trees and perennial plants in areas with the lowest tree cover.
