Not so much highland related but there’s bagpipes involved… I had an extra ticket to see Cammy Barnes in Dundee next Friday.
It’s right now the only ticket available to the otherwise sold out show.
It’s just a single ticket and it’s available directly through Ticketmaster as I’ve popped it up there for resale.

The Bowhill to Canada story runs close to home with Bowhill being where Marg was born and raised. This years Chieftain was Reid Maxwell of Simon Fraser University Pipe Band fame shares a similar story a few years apart. Reid joined us at our ceilidh last week and it was nice to visit him and his wife in the Chieftain’s tent yesterday.

Big thank you to Forsyth Scottish Dancing Shoes who contributed to the shopping spree of prizes at the Bowhill Highland Games today!! Fun fact… the man, the myth, the legend Mr Billy Forsyth used to run the streets of Bowhill as a kid as he had family just up the hill from the games field in Dondonald.
