Wooo hoo...my 50th gift to myself!!

Today I finally got round to opening the giant box that’s been on my sitting room floor since the middle of June! After all the excitement of the sound bath I did at the beach I bought this gazebo!

I’ve not attached the sides yet but thought some outdoor sound baths could be really lovely. It should be big enough to protect my gongs, crystal bowls and whatever else I choose to include. I just wish I’d thought of this yesterday to combine with the eclipse but hindsight is such a wonderful thing isn’t it?! 🤣🤦‍♀️

I’d love to make outdoor sound baths inclusive, community events so they will be fairly priced to hopefully welcome more people.

As I’m typing this it’s just started to rain a wee but one of my dogs and the cat are at least using the gazebo as a rain shelter. 🥰☔️🌈 Finger crossed 🤞for the warm weather to continue and hopefully I have jinxed it but making sunny plans!

Shaped tote bag class...well done girls 3 hrs flew past in a flash!!! Hand made straps and pockets and fully lined..exceptional effort 👌 💪

A cheeky wee kids beginners crochet class...really impressed by the effort as its pretty difficult for kids to learn and stick with it!!! So well done!!

Another lovely morning sewing with the kids!!

Thanks to everyone who came along to take part in our Crafting for Kids and Visible Mending workshops and to our brilliant, talented sewing and crafting team - Jan, Liz, Val, Hazel, Willie and Sheena. What a fun morning and an incredible array of mends and makes!

I think its time we upped our wardrobes...I hope to never see young woman in the shops with goodies on anymore...lets make an effort!! Judgy? Yes i know

I also try to manifest men wearing wastecoats again...would a monocle be too much?
