We love to share our enthusiasm with customers. You will find the largest range of plants in the area plus helpful, friendly staff. We stock fruit and ornamental trees, alpines, heathers, conifers, shrubs, climbers, perennials , herbs and more. We also have a range of composts, fertilisers and pots.

Hi all

🌺🌺Update…. after spending an hour on the phone with a robot and an overseas call centre the issue is now resolved and we are up and running again!!! Apparently the solution was to take the battery out, waft it around in the breeze for a few seconds and put it back in…..as Worldpay batteries “need refreshment”😂😂🌺🌺

Apologies but due to our card machine refusing to work (I think it’s been roasted!!!!) it is cash or bank transfer only today

As if this week hasn’t been challenging enough already 😂😂

Hi everyone

We will be open tomorrow as usual, but please be aware that it will still be exceedingly hot inside our display glasshouses and polytunnels (much warmer and more humid than the outside temperature!)
Despite our best efforts at keeping all our stock watered some plants have unavoidably suffered due to the strong sun and high temperatures over the last couple of days. A few plants have not survived, and some stock from our outside displays has been taken off sale, to recover and regrow.
We do however have lots of beautiful happy plants still on display!

Hi everyone

Due to the extreme heat forecast for tomorrow and Thursday, we have taken the decision to close. We will reopen on Saturday.

It has been unbearably hot today working both outside and inside the glasshouses. Most of our plants are displayed inside glasshouses or polytunnels, and our pay desk is inside as well.
Temperatures and humidity are far higher inside the glasshouses than outside, and it is not just uncomfortable working/browsing, it’s unsafe!

Small Standard Roses!!! 🌹 🌷🌹

R.R.P. £55 each

We offered these at £45 each (2 for £80) 3 weeks ago when they started to flower and unbelievably have not sold a single one!!

We are now offering them at £25 each to clear, this is less than cost price but we need them sold (note to self…..never buy standard roses again 😂😂)

We were asked for them so many times last year so decided we should stock them…..mistake!!

So….. £25 each, 11 available, all different varieties. Will keep flowering, just need regular deadheading. Would look great in a pot surrounded by summer bedding

The Trinity Estates baskets are up in Retford! After a few weeks growing on in our glasshouses, over 60 baskets left us this morning to spend their summer displayed along both sides of Bridgegate and around Trinity Hospital
