Attempting to clear out my flower room and being reminded of all the things I've made in here! I'm so bad at remembering to take pictures of my work, but this was probably one of my most favourite things to make- a wedding floral set fit for a highland woodland elopement ✨ filled with flowers to represent the moon and the sun and the magical union of these two celestial beings, bringing balance and harmony.

I loved being asked to bring meaning to beautiful things and I'll never forget all the things I made, they have a wee piece of me in them all. Thank you again to everyone who ever commissioned anything from me, I'm eternally grateful to have been a part of your stories 🖤🖤 and obviously, the cats assisted in everything ever created 😂

Filled with herbs and flowers to honor the season;
Mugwort for protection, divination and the moon
St Johns Wort to hold the power of the sun over us in the dark months, holding hope for new beginnings
Broom bloom to sweep out the old
Sage to cleanse and clear
Poppy for dreams in the dark
Flax for the seeds we plan and plant over winter
Birch for renewal as death of the old makes space for the new

Filled with the following botanicals:

Lavender - herb of the summer solistice, a pathfinder, there to help us move into the next half of the year
Clover- to see the unseen and protect from the mischief of the Fae
Nigella - for emotional clarity to help see us through what may have or have not come to pass this year
Yarrow - for protection, but also for love and friendship at this outward active time of year. Blooming now in Edinburgh ❤️
St Johns Wort - a powerful herb of the sun, also very protective and supports happiness
Marjoram - for all things Venusian and for self love
Daisy - for fun and play
Goldenrod- for good fortune as we manifest under the sun

Litha Flower Crown Workshop ✨☀️🌸

Its that time of year again! Join me for an evening of summer flower crown making at , Thistle Street, on Monday the 16th of June at 6:30pm.

Together we will weave specially chosen dried flowers together to create summer flower crown headbands, filled with flowers and plants picked to evoke summer meadows and the energies of the Summer Solstice.

Workshop location- Black Moon Botanica, 41 Thistle Street, Edinburgh , EH2 1DY. Monday the 16th of June, 6:30pm start, ending at 8:30pm.

Spring wreaths are here!

Made with trees of Birch, Pine and Hawthorne, for renewal, the eternal turning of the wheel and the abundant fertility and magic of nature. Herbs of alchemy and transformation and my most favorite thing of all, MOSS💚 the protector and bringer of life to plants and creatures.

All the herbs and flowers were grown by me and all the trees gathered from fallen branches ✨
