The Rundholz Black Label continues to progress in all areas, design, fabrics and quality of manufacture. This Autumn Winter Season brings all these aspects together into an excellent collection. There have been times in the past where the quality of Black Label has come into question, however, this is no longer the case. This collection epitomises all the uniqueness of a a Rundholz collection. Beautiful Knits with pixelated designs. Thick padded drawstrings abound. Stunning jersey prints, at times mixed with wild nettings. Frou-Frou dress, fitted on the body, with full and layered skirting. Down and feather padded coats, each one with distinctive features. If anyone was thinking the Rundholz Black Label was getting boring, then you will need to look again. This collection brings many of the successful design concepts seen in previous Dip and Mainline Collection into Black Label and it really works. It is time to look again at the Black Label!

Once again the Rundholz Dip Collection has excelled itself, we have always been great fans of Dip, it is a bit raw, earthy and idiosyncratic, which we like. This Autumn Winter 2018/19 collection is no exception. Beautiful fabrics, substantial, soft, cotton sweats. Crisp textured cottons and superb wool and cashmere mixes. Mixed heavy jersey fabrics with netting, wonderful. Each piece overdyed to produce a unique, individual garment. This is again a collection for the individual, self-thinker, confident in what they want and how they look.

The Rundholz Mainline collection has been delivered and we have been pleased on many counts. This Collection is excellent, the knitwear is quite beautiful and easy to wear and the khaki and olive colours perfect for the season. The padded jackets and coats range from the ultra-oversized to the merely oversized, this look is definitely transferring itself from Japan globally. The Mainline dresses are always stunning, Rundholz seem to have that special touch, turning the simple into splendid, fitted, sexy and very notable. As ever the jackets and skirts have been designed to make the complex look easy, the fabrics are as carefully chosen as the shapes are tailored. All in all the Rundholz Mainline Collection for Autumn Winter 2018/19 is one to be appreciated and enjoyed.

This season, Spring Summer 2018, sees Rundholz producing an exceptional Dip collection. I always think Dip is where Carsten Rundholz can run free with his creative energies and it regularly shows. This collection is no exception, in fact I would go as far as to say it is one of the best we have seen. Many of the pieces are highly intricate and use multiple fabrics, all over-dyed. It reminds us of that most memorable 'Witch Collection' from Rei Kawakubo (Come des Garcons) in the early 2000s, still one of my very favourites. This collection is well worth taking a careful look at.

The Spring Summer 2018 Rundholz Mainline collection is very strong, with wonderful prints and luxury fabrics. Each piece is special in its own way. If you get the chance have a look at the large printed scarves, you will not know whether to wear them or put them on the wall as seriously good works of art.
