Same silhouette, two very different bridal moments. So why did we create both?
Not every bride dreams of the same kind of wedding, and we don’t believe every wedding dress should serve the same purpose. That’s exactly why we created two interpretations of our signature Eden silhouette: the Eden Dress and the Eden Gown.
Our bridal gowns are designed to be that one truly special piece for your wedding day. Made using more luxurious fabrics, with additional length, beautiful bridal trains and fully lined construction, they’re intended to feel every bit as special as the occasion itself.
Our dresses, on the other hand, were created to offer a more understated, versatile and accessible alternative. They’re lighter, more relaxed and designed to be worn well beyond your wedding day. We love the idea of these pieces being worn for intimate ceremonies, city weddings, celebrations, honeymoons and really any occasion that calls for a beautiful cream or ivory dress.
There’s so much more we could go into when it comes to the differences in construction, fabric choices and finishes, but we hope this little breakdown helps explain the thinking behind each design.
You’ll also notice a selection of different fabrics and shades across our website, from soft ivory satins to our beautiful Antique Pearl silk, each offering a slightly different look and feel.
And of course, there are no rules. Whether you’re planning an intimate registry office ceremony or a larger traditional wedding, it’s simply about choosing the piece that feels right for you.
If you’re ever unsure about the differences between our styles, fabrics or finishes, my DMs and email are always open. I’m more than happy to help. We’d also love to welcome you to our Edinburgh showroom, where you can see the fabrics, feel the difference and try on our designs in person♡
