✨ Maxine ✨

Vintage vibes from beautiful bride Maxine 💕.

Maxine wears a vintage gown which we lovingly restored and restyled for her wedding day. She paired it with a bespoke Gemma Sargent short style blusher veil.

The alterations to Maxine’s dress included removing the original sleeves to create a sleeveless bodice, re-shaping the front and back necklines (original dress had scalloped edges and boat cut to front and back), raising the hem to create a tea length skirt, replacing the original zipper, fixing the bow in place and tailoring the bodice to size.

Had to share this beautiful detail shot of bespoke bride Laura’s veil as it really highlights the contemporary Guipure lace edging on her veil.

Laura’s veil was crafted to coordinate with her bespoke bridal gown, made in a fine silk white tulle and edged to her finger tips to frame her train. This created a modern lace edge veil that complimented her bespoke bridal gown without distracting from its sleek design.

Inside a Gemma Sargent Bespoke Bridal Gown - this strapless design has internal corsetry and cups ensuring that our lovely bride feels supported and comfortable on her big day. In addition to the aesthetic, structural considerations tailored to your exact specifications are what truly makes a dress bespoke.

All designs are created by hand from within the studio which is based in the seaside town of Cockenzie in East Lothian and just a short journey from Edinburgh city centre.
