Surf Coo has turned 5 years old!🥳 I started this fleece business in Spring 2021, I can still remember my first ever fleece drop on my new website. That day I sold enough fleeces to be sewing everyday for a month straight. I cried I was so overwhelmed- how am I going to sew all these orders on time?!
Over 5000 fleeces later, we’ve come a long way! I’ve had 3 amazing people help me with the scale of the orders at different points as the business has grown. Now Surf Coo feels like a well-oiled machine (except for every October-December which somehow always ends up being complete chaos🙈)
It’s definitely had its challenges- Brexit, the new US tariffs, the EU GPSR regulations. I actually send more fleeces abroad than I do within the UK, it’s not been the easiest time to ship internationally! But somehow you guys keep showing up through it all and 5 years later this could be my best year yet🥹
I really wanted to say thank you, you’re the reason I’m still here through the challenges. I think it looks like I’m surfing all the time, the reality is I’m sewing 90% of the time and surfing 10% of the time haha. I’m so thankful for every fleece I get to sew you and don’t take any of it for granted!!
