Long Post Warning 🧶 What a Day!!

Today we took ourselves off to King Cole for some fabulous yarn deals (watch this space). Google Maps took us the scenic route!! On the plus side we passed Billy Bobs Ice Cream Parlour (I'll come back to this)

Once we found HQ, had a lovely catch up with the staff at King Cole, a quick cuppa, got ourselves loaded up, more than 30 boxes of fabulous yarn, then away.

Would be rude not to stop at Skipton market and support fellow traders 🤷

Saw a lovely restaurant so stopped for lunch (muscles for me, burger for Gordon) then on our way - Straight to Billy Bobs Ice Cream Parlour and WOW, what a place... This is definitely worthy of a Foodie review, it was amazing. Loads for kids to do although I believe you have to pay for part of the park (not all of it).
The inside was very American, think Grease meets Cars from Disney. It had an inside gas station, an old school bus seating area, it was AMAZING.

As we'd already eaten it was ice cream only and a double scoop was almost taller than me!! £11.00 for 2 of us so I didn't think that was bad. Definitely going to go back to this place.

So, it's 9.45pm, only got home half an hour ago so I'm not uploading pictures tonight as we have an early start for Hetton Carnival in the morning. Watch out Sunday to see all the offers.... They are Amazing too. 😊🧶

This is an interesting one ..... We don't stock much in the way of card making or papercrafts, were mainly a wool shop however yesterday we were contacted by Crafter's Companion asking if we would to stock their products? :)

I'm quite excited as i do follow Sara Davies and Crafter's Companion i love their products.

This weeks plans ...

The shop will be open as usual, Monday to Thursday 10am until 3.00pm.

Remember - WILL NOT be at Seaham Seaside Market tomorrow (back next week) as we have other plans. Keep your eyes peeled cos fingers crossed, its a good one 👀🧶

Saturday we will be at Hetton Carnival. This is a great event in the most beautiful setting on the Lakeside (i'll try and get pictures before the foam party in the afternoon - Yep, you heard it right here, thats what they did last year !!!!)

We won't be at Hetton on Sunday this year as we have family commitments so just the one day for us. get yourselves along, i'm hoping its going to be a bright beautiful day 😊🧶🙏☀️

I've had a few people asking about the Sirdar Autumn CAL which is launched next Wednesday 24th June to start a few weeks later (all details will be given on launch date.

Now I have seen it, it's really nice but that's just my opinion.

The King Cole CAL starts this Friday (exciting 😜💐) which is why I've not said much about the Sirdar CAL.

But, what to do???.. ..

Carl Heron often comes to see us when were in Bridges Sunderland as he loves to knit and crochet. Carl is the owner of The Glass Onion Bistro on Blandford Street and is going to show some of his pieces in the Bistro, you never know, he may even be up to selling one or two 😉🧶

Carl is a beautiful knitter as can be seen by this Fabulous jumper he made using our Cygnet Woolly Aran, isn't this stunning. I just can't believe how neat your knitting is Carl. Well done and thanks so much for sharing with us.
