Happy Monday!

Beanie season is definitely here and I feel it's time for another meet the maker post. I also want to use this post to thank all my customers and supporters. I cannot believe I am now at nearly 11k followers on here. Thank you so much!

My name is Lesley-Anne, or Lel, I live in Edinburgh and I run the Etsy shop Lelsloom and lelsloom.com . I make cosy, colourful beanie hats on my trusty mechanical loom, which I started doing in 2016 when a nasty case of pneumonia left me unable to work for a couple of months. Lelsloom is now my full time job and I absolutely love it! 😀

Over the past ten years I have sold over 8000 beanie hats to countless countries worldwide. It feels amazing knowing that so many people are wearing my items and I love seeing photos of you all wearing your Lelsloom beanies. We have a new collection of fisherman beanies in our Etsy shop. Check out these gorgeous colours 😍

These hats are hand-spun on a mechanical loom with soft chunky acrylic wool giving a nice snug fit. There is a brim knitted in to keep your ears warm and this can be turned up if you wish to wear your hat as a shorter trawler beanie.
