My latest commission a very special 60th birthday present! This is the steering wheel of a nearly 40 year old landrover defender now engraved with Celtic knotwork and boars heads for the cars nickname the Blue Boar. It will have the woodput back on the frame before being installed in the much loved landy!

I am very honoured to have been commissioned to make a silver wine beaker to mark a big birthday! Hand engraved with vine leaves and grapes this piece will be perfect for sipping red wine from.

Thank you to Stuart Ray for his expert spinning and plating to make this piece just perfect.

So excited to receive the 2026 awards catalogue from ! I am so thrilled and honoured to have my work on the cover. This florid scrolls piece has been a lovely marker in my career and progress as an engraver and now gun engraver. Thank you to for all your support and to for funding the start of my training with Karen.

A wee video of my award winning florid scrolls.

The dubbed the jewellery Oscar’s for being the largest competition for jewellery, silversmiths and the allied trades in the UK. This competition is vast with over 800 entries. I was shocked to win not only the gold award for my piece in the Junior engravers section but also the overall junior award from all of the entries! This is amazing to have my work recognised at such a high standard.

This piece has been done as part of my gun engraving apprenticeship with the expert knowledge of following on from my training with her. Hand engraving is recognised by as an endangered skill and it is very important to me to keep such a wonderful heritage skill alive and be able to showcase it to you all.
