Goat and sheep feeding time 🤗
Nigel and Philip have to come out because otherwise they bulldoze all of the others and hoover up all the food!
They just get a little grain for a boost and then have their hay to munch on all day, as well as mountain browse 🌲

Goat and sheep paradise 😍

On Thursday, Próspero, Dotty and Prince all got fresh mani-pedis 💅🏻

Thank you to those sponsoring these guys and helping towards their care. It was 35€ for each for a full trim.

Dotty and Próspero were so relaxed and well-behaved. Prince, due to his issues with his luxating patella, struggles with the farrier as it’s uncomfortable for him to pick up his hooves, especially the back ones.
Therefore we don’t go for perfection with him but just take a little off when they need doing.

To sponsor an animal and help towards their care, check the link in the comments. You can also gift a sponsorship to your loved ones 🥰

On Wednesday Timo was castrated due to persisting problems with parafimosis. This is when the p***s becomes stuck out and needs human assistance. It can be painful and lead to problems with ongoing inflammation and infection. It’s often due to hormones and therefore usually solved with castration.

He handled everything like a champ. He loved going to the vets and having a fuss whilst being sedated. He went under easily (unlike the first time we had to sedate him for X-rays) and Django watched over him whilst the vets prepared his IV catheter.

All went smoothly and he is already back to his normal self, albeit with a bit of inflammation and bruising which is normal.
He has to take a break from his wheelchair, at least for another day or until the swelling goes down but this is hard for him as he gets FOMO and wants to be involved in everything that is going on!

He will be back to his normal chaos-causing routine in no time at all.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers, donors and food sponsors Ami 💚

We will put a link in the comments section if anybody wants to sponsor Timo. Thank you 🙏
