Some things mean more than words can say, and this is one of them.
Back in February 2025, we set out with a fundraising goal, and by November we knew we needed to go bigger. What followed was our first ever marathon in Murcia - 11 weeks of training, Irish winter miles, long runs home from work, and a whole lot of support behind the scenes.
I want to say the biggest thank you to my coaches.
for the running programming that got me from hating life attempting 10kms to finishing a marathon, for all things S&C, nutrition and performance, for being the ultimate hype team and letting me take over the treadmill for three hours at a time. Sorry to the members 😅 and to for the elite recovery.
To my family and friends for listening to endless marathon chat, keeping me sane, hyping me up, running with me, and bringing me drinks and sweets mid-run.
And to the legend that is Mum, thank you for everything. My inspiration, my lift, my feed-and-water crew, and the person who made this trip to Murcia even more special. I honestly couldn’t have done it without you. 🤍
Last but not least, thank you to everyone who liked, shared, baked cakes, sent messages of support, and donated. Your kindness helped us raise over £3,600 for , and I will never be able to thank you enough.
From February 2025 to February 2026, Legacy29 has now raised £6,333.48 for clubs and charities, and I’m so proud of what this community has built.
