No Nappuccino today!

It’s probably the first time in its 18 years I’ve cancelled this group!
We even ran when it was snowing. It just makes sense to stay at home and keep cool.

I’m very grateful not to be cooking soup right now though.

It’s not very often we say ‘DONT come to The Baby Room’!!!

But because of the red heat weather warning issued by the MetOffice we just don’t want you to come for now.

Babies and pregnant women are advised not to go out in the heat. So although it’s cool here in The Baby Room and the big fan is pushing cool air around the building we don’t want you to risk overheating while walking here, getting delayed on a hot train or sweating on a bus. Cars get very hot and babies cannot regulate their temperatures.

We are constantly reviewing the forecast and will update you if we decide to close altogether or cancel our groups and classes.

If you’re going bonkers cooped up and need help, I’ll share a link to our WhatsApp group in the comments, please feel free to reach out.

We've had a request for a Gruffalo dress for a customer so I'll be putting in a Blade and Rose order on Monday. If you've got any requests please let me know. We can order most full price items from the Blade and Rose website - but the sale items aren't available for retailers to order in (also not the soft toys, sorry!)
