Daft Bat products ( lovingly produced by Yvonne and Fergus right here in Falkland ❤️ canny get more local than that!) are now stocked in The Rowan Tree … on the High St directly opposite Falkland Palace gatehouse.
Lip Tints and Lip Balms… using only organic, natural ingredients - the Lip tints can also be used as highlighters or body shimmers… perfect for everyday, holidays (or the not too far away party season 🙈😂)

A few long time customers have been in lately, saying they were glad to see us open as they were ‘told’ that we are closed or are closing!!
I can categorically confirm… WE ARE NOT closing nor planning to close our doors.
Yes, we have been keeping strange hours, and closed more than usual for quite a while.. but this has been due to family illness/commitments. This is an ongoing issue at present… so please bear with us. We fully appreciate the inconvenience this may have caused, and apologise.
You can contact us directly via our page on messenger/ or email ( [email protected]) or by giving us a ring to check before you come if travelling a distance to see us.
We are normally open 10-4.30 except Tuesdays which is our day off.
I sincerely hope this brings clarity.
We look forward to seeing you all. 😊

Not really shop related… but very important!!!

Falkland has been very busy with many visitors… but today I noticed that someone left 3 dogs in a car for at least 30 mins with the window open only a couple of inches!
I was on the verge of calling someone to intervene and help them.. when the owners returned and took the dogs out.
PLEASE PLEASE do not leave dogs unattended in cars on warm days, the ambient outside temperature may be 18-20, but inside the car gets so much warmer very quickly… and DOGS DIE!!!

We apologise yet again for being closed ( again!) recently! It’s been due to a whole combination of illness / family related factors. Now.. I’ve got the lurgy..flu, Covid, I don’t know.
We promise to get back to some kind of normality soon.
