The style , the fashion, the music! So after 30 years owning my vintage shop Brief Encounter in Aberdeen I am doing again what I love and rekindling my passion for all things vintage! Calling my collection "Vintage Quine" I have launched my new shop in the beautiful historic village Falkland last year, hoping customers will be smitten with a wee bitty of vintage charm. Browse through a wonderful

collection of original vintage and vintage inspired clothing , shoes , accessories and homeware including upcycled small retro furniture , cushions and gifts all with a vintage twist. My shop when you enter is like stepping back in time and have hoped to create a warm nostalgic atmosphere . If you love vintage come and visit you will be given a lovely welcome! Our SASSENACH WHISKY BOTTLE EARRINGS have just been restocked.
They have been recycled from our SASSENACH Whisky Bottle by Helen Chalmers in Pitlochry.
We delivered the bottle there personally and were able to watch as it was smashed up, melted down and shaped in to little balls and larger rounded rectangular shapes, which had either gold leaf or palladium added for interest.
Which ones are your favourite?
They are completely non allergenic with surgical steel backs.

Our tartan dresses have been flying out. Available in sizes XS to XXL for £76.
They have velvet covered buttons, deep pockets and a belt to cinch them in.
They can be worn with or without an additional petticoat.
Here is Freya modelling one for us over one of our cream petticoats.
We are always happy to provide size advice and send you detailed measurements.
Also featured are our red wedge sandals and tartan headbands.
