We have been asked a few times for some Film/Tv cars so we have done these four iconic legends

Five Legendary TV Vehicles That Became Icons

The A-Team Van
The unmistakable black GMC van with its red stripe, driven by the legendary A-Team. Tough, rugged and instantly recognisable, it became a symbol of 1980s action television. “I love it when a plan comes together!”

The Trotters’ Reliant Robin
The little three-wheeled van from Only Fools and Horses, driven by Del Boy and Rodney Trotter. Often seen struggling through Peckham, it was part of some of the funniest moments in British television history. Lovely jubbly!

Starsky & Hutch’s Ford Gran Torino
The famous red-and-white-striped Ford Gran Torino, nicknamed the “Striped Tomato”, was as cool as the detectives themselves. With its roaring engine and unmistakable looks, it became one of the most iconic police cars ever to grace the small screen.

The General Lee
The bright orange 1969 Dodge Charger from The Dukes of Hazzard, famous for its horn, daring jumps and high-speed chases across Hazzard County. A true American muscle-car legend that captured the spirit of classic action television.

KITT
The iconic black talking car from the 1980s TV series Knight Rider, driven by Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff). It's based on a modified 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

Five vehicles. Five legends. Countless memories. From British comedy to American action, these iconic machines were far more than just cars and vans — they were stars in their own right, bringing generations of television fans unforgettable moments.

It’s been a little while since we added the Renault 5 turbo and GT5 turbo.

So we thought a few more needed to be added so please see our newest silhouettes added, four Renault models starting from the 1960’s and moving forward to modern times with a full electric beast.

Renault 4

Renault Clio RS mk4
Renault 5E turbo 3

🇫🇷 Renault 4 — 1961

The original Renault 4 was launched in 1961 as a simple, affordable and practical car.

* Engine: 603 cc inline-4
* Power: about 23 hp
* Transmission: 3-speed manual
* Drive: front-wheel drive
* Weight: around 600 kg
* Top speed: roughly 70 mph
* Purpose: affordable family/utility car

It became a huge success, with more than 8 million Renault 4s produced worldwide.

🏁 Renault Clio R.S. 197

* Production: 2006–2009
* Engine: 2.0-litre naturally aspirated 4-cylinder (F4R)
* Power: 197 hp @ 7,250 rpm
* Torque: 215 Nm
* Gearbox: 6-speed manual
* Drive: Front-wheel drive
* 0–62 mph: about 6.9 seconds
* Top speed: about 134 mph
* Weight: roughly 1,240 kg
* Redline: around 7,500 rpm

The 197 doesn’t rely on a turbocharger. You need to rev the engine to get the best from it, which gives the car a very engaging character.

Its biggest strength is arguably the chassis. Renault Sport gave it wide tracks, sophisticated suspension and strong brakes, making it exceptionally capable through corners.

The Cup chassis version is even more focused, with stiffer suspension and reduced weight.

🏁 Renault Clio R.S.

The fourth-generation Clio R.S. arrived in 2013 and represented a major change from the previous Clio R.S.

* Engine: 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder
* Power: 200 hp
* Torque: 240 Nm
* Gearbox: 6-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic
* Drive: front-wheel drive
* 0–62 mph: about 6.7 sec
* Top speed: about 143 mph

The later Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy increased output to 220 hp and sharpened the chassis.

Unlike the older 197/200, the Mk4 R.S. uses a turbo engine and dual-clutch transmission, so it’s quicker and more modern but has a different character.

⚡ Renault 5 Turbo 3E

And then you jump to Renault’s modern electric performance flagship.

* Power: 555 hp
* Motors: two electric motors
* Drive: rear-wheel drive
* Battery: 70 kWh
* 0–62 mph: under 3.5 seconds
* Top speed: 167 mph
* Architecture: 800V
* Fast charging: up to 350 kW
* Production: 1,980 numbered examples

The two motors independently drive the rear wheels, giving the Turbo 3E exceptional control over the rear axle and enabling its famous drift-focused character.

As the modern cars get bigger we were asked if we could do a couple of classic micro bubble cars.

Messerschmitt KR200

BMW Isetta

Messerschmitt KR200 was developed by aircraft engineer Fritz Fend and retains a distinctly aviation-inspired appearance.

BMW Isetta became much more widely known because BMW successfully turned it into a mass-market microcar.

If you’re deciding which is more interesting/valuable/collectible, the Messerschmitt KR200 is arguably the more unusual machine, while the BMW Isetta has greater name recognition.

Something a little different on the silhouette’s, not a run if the mill car.

The McMurtry Speirling.

The McMurtry Spéirling is one of the wildest electric track cars ever built.

* ⚡ Electric, single-seat hypercar/track car
* 🌀 Uses twin fans to generate huge “downforce-on-demand,” reportedly around 2,000 kg from a standstill
* 🚀 Prototype testing achieved 0–60 mph in about 1.4 seconds
* 🏁 Set the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb outright record in 2022 with 39.08 seconds
* 🏎️ The Spéirling PURE later set an outright Top Gear Test Track record of 55.9 seconds in 2025
* 🔄 Its fan system is so powerful that McMurtry demonstrated the car driving upside down in 2025.

Sorry we haven’t posted for a while – we’ve been busy behind the scenes working on a range of new silhouette models.

We’re excited to share our latest and slightly different design: the Iveco Daily 72-180 AMS Slide Bed Recovery Truck.

A popular recovery vehicle across the UK, this model has been carefully designed to capture the distinctive look of the real truck. We hope you like it as much as we enjoyed creating it!

We’ve now a line up of four Volvo’s

* Volvo P1800
* Volvo Amazon
* Volvo 480
* Volvo 850 T-5R

And they actually connect historically:

* The P1800 borrowed heavily from the Amazon mechanically.
* The 480 was seen as a spiritual successor to the P1800ES “glass hatch” concept.
* The 850 T-5R turned the Volvo estate into a performance icon in the 1990’s

We’ve had a bit of a Triumph drawnjng frenzy and now added

Triumph 1800 Roadster, Elegant post-war touring car

TR3A, Raw vintage sports car

TR4, Refined classic roadster

TR5, Fast muscular GT roadster

The TR4 & 5 have very little difference’s so please check which you prefer when your ordering.

We added a couple more classic MG’s to our range of silhouettes

Think of them as a size ladder:

* MG Metro → small and light
* MG Maestro → medium hatchback
* MG Montego → larger saloon/estate

The Maestro and Montego shared a lot mechanically, while the Metro was a smaller separate platform.

Performance versions

The famous sporty versions were:

* MG Metro Turbo
* MG Maestro Turbo
* MG Montego Turbo

The Maestro Turbo was especially quick for the time — around 150 bhp and capable of roughly 130 mph.

Reputation today

* Metro: loved for lightweight old-school hot-hatch feel
* Maestro: quirky, underrated practical hatch
* Montego: rare survivor today, especially estates and Turbos

All three are now quite nostalgic British classics tied to the troubled but interesting Austin Rover period

The Audi R8 (Mk1) – Audi’s first true supercar (2006–2015), known for its perfect balance of performance, usability, and timeless design.
