Thank you to 16th Fleetwood Scouts for getting involved in this year's Fleetwood Scarecrow Festival.

They've popped down to Fleet Farm & Equestrian this morning to pick up their FREE bags of straw ... plenty more available this morning until 12 noon.

Come on people show your support ! Let's get community spirt that Fleetwood has raised once more xx

It's great to see the comments from Fleetwood Hall Care Home, Fleetwood indoor and outdoor car boot and other businesses saying they will be part of this year's Festival.

Remember anyone in the FY7 area can create and display a figure ... we were chatting with a local resident today, hearing that she and her neighbours are planning a street of scarecrows!

Another resident told us she is hoping to get involved but may not have the time ... she's getting married next week!

If you need straw to stuff and decorate your figures please call in to Fleet Farm & Equestrian tomorrow (Saturday 31st May) or Sunday 8th June, both from 10am to 12 noon to pick up FREE bags - kindly funded by Fleetwood Town Council.

On arrival, there is car-parking then please follow the signs for the SHOP, we will be close by.

- One bag will be enough to dress a standard-size scarecrow.
- Max 2 bags per person if you are also collecting for a friend.
- It is first come, first served and we will update on what stock is left after each session.

𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: WE CAN NOT ARRANGE THE DELIVERY OF BAGS, ALL FREE BAGS MUST BE COLLECTED AS ABOVE.

If you can't make any of the three pick-up options you can still purchase straw from Fleet Equestrian at other times.

- It will be a full, tied bale, enough for more than one scarecrow.
- You will probably need 2 people to pick up a bale.
- Moving the bale can be messy so bring a sheet/blanket to help keep your vehicle tidy.

Any bales picked up at times other than listed above, do need to paid for on the day to Fleet Equestrian, it's under £6 a bale.
