We can’t pretend to be thriving - but our website is! It’s more stocked than it’s ever been, packed with genuinely lovely things for babies, kids and grown-ups, and you lovely lot are still finding us somehow despite us hitting an absolute paralysis with social media. Thank you.
We will unfreeze soon. We will laugh in cafes and we will clean out our handbags.
Not today though.

Closing a shop down is harder than it looks, It's like moving house but without the excitement of having a new house to go to. The admin is endless and the clean up is epic. We have been sludging through it all, whilst juggling the kids and general messy life things.

Whilst we sweep up and unscrew and fill holes, and move things and worry about what to do with all the things, you can sit back and have a look at our supercharged website!

It's bursting with more stock than our little shop could ever hold. Shipping is FREE on ALL ORDERS and there is so much on there, go and have a look. if you're not surprised about how much is on there, then, well - you're just jealous.

Our Folkestone shop on The Old High Street will be open until Sunday 22nd March, if you’d like to come by before we close the door at number 65 for the last time.

A quick note for anyone wondering - there’s no closing down sale.
We’re not closing the business, just our physical shop, and everything will be continuing online. 💅

If you’ve been meaning to pop in for a while, now’s a good moment to do it, come and say hello (and goodbye) and give us a hug. But not a sad one, because we are not closing down, just moving online only 💃

We’d love to see a few familiar faces before the weekend is over.

If you have Moocycle credit don’t panic, come and spend it this week, or not - we accept it on our website as normal anyway and we aren't closing down, we will be online as normal, actually we’ll be better online than ever! 💅💃🎉

We opened this shop on The Old High Street almost nine years ago, when the world looked different and our family had different demands. We didn’t think we’d make it through the Covid lockdowns, but our local customers carried us through to the other side, and we will never forget the immense support people showed. It feels like a very long time ago I was doing local deliveries on my bike 🚲

This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. It is a decision we’ve been putting off due to us having our head in the sand the pure blind love we have for our customers and this thing we have built with your help. But the spreadsheets have spoken. We will be closing the doors of number 65 The Old High Street. But Moo isn’t over, a new era will begin, and we’re very excited.

Our final day in the shop will be Sunday 22 March.
It’s not goodbye, you’ll still be hearing plenty from us - but it does mark the end of this chapter. If you're an online customer your experience is about to get loads better as we will be channeling loads of energy into this side - and if you're local to Kent then we have some news to announce soon too.

It’s been a real privilege to watch your children grow up, to be part of this street and community, and to get to know so many of you along the way.
A bittersweet moment, but not the end.

We’re making a small change to our shop hours 💛

From today, you’ll find us open:

Thursday-Sunday 10:30am -4pm

This helps us balance the shop with everything else we do at Moo — sourcing, curating, building things thoughtfully, and put some very exciting plans in place 👀

They say Elephants never forget. This one is made of fabric and stuffing so it almost certainly would forget everything But there is no need to worry about that. It’s very soft, has cute dangly legs and would make a great gift - which is a fact that requires no further clarification. 100% stuffing, 0% consciousness. Let's not over think it.
