Before & After – Scarpa Walking Boot Restored.

These men’s Scarpa walking boots recently came in for a complete refurbishment. I began with a full steam clean to remove years of built-up polish, dirt, and surface residue, restoring the leather back to a clean natural finish.

A new protective toe rand was then fitted to maintain the original design and improve durability. Then a premium Vibram® Sniper sole unit was installed to restore durability and grip.

To finish the job, the leather was treated and conditioned to help protect the boots and bring the leather back to life.

Men’s Dr. Martens full resole using original King Soles the authentic Dr. Martens sole manufacturer from the UK before most production moved overseas 👍

I’ve also shoe creamed and restored the colour, bringing the leather back to life.

The original sole had broken down due to age, crumbling and falling apart a common issue with this type of sole over time.

The new Vibram Sniper sole unit comes with a polyurethane midsole and traction lug technology, giving excellent grip, durability, and long-lasting performance.
