Sustainable Fashion Week is coming up! This year, there will be plenty of opportunities to reclaim our clothes and fabrics through repair, reuse, remaking and refashioning. The Frome Hub for Sustainable Fashion Week 2025 is once again hosted by Everyone Needs Pockets.

Across the week there’ll be events for all ages, with a mix of drop-in activities and bookable workshops.

Sustainable Fashion Week in Frome begins with a Make and Mend Day on 27 September at Frome Town Hall with Everyone Needs Pockets. Expect a full day of hands-on activities: rope making, community weaving on a loom, clothes repair, sock darning, a haberdashery, fabric and textile book sales, plus bookable workshops for both children and adults.

Great Big Green Week returns from Saturday 7th to Sunday 15th June — and we're taking part!

Great Big Green Week is a celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature — with over 30 events and activities to join in with, many of them in Frome’s network of open and green spaces. From bike rides, guided walks and picnics, clothes swaps, repair workshops, tastings, talks, green hacks day and the river vision festival, there’s something for everyone.

Mend in Public Day Saturday 26 April in the Westway shopping centre Frome

Fashion Revolution have organised this global event to inspire people to fix and repair their own clothes! We are joining in with everyone by mending in public and you can part of it too.
