A Muggle of Jugs began with an obsession: the pottery of ancient Greece, vessels painted with myths, rituals and quiet domestic moments, each one made to hold something precious.

Back in my Somerset studio, I translated those forms into woodblock print, carving each jug by hand, one block at a time, until the shelves became a pattern of their own.

A design rooted in storytelling, collecting and the beauty of everyday objects.

Five new designs just arrived in the dolls house collection Sunflowers, Dahlias, Float Away in Space, Dance Away in the Garden, and Mermaids.

In 1952, Emery Jernquist in Rhode Island painted his house black. Then decided it looked too somber. So he added polka dots.
We think he was onto something.

I swapped his paint for my Tiddlywinks fabric. Hand carved dots, printed to order, and apparently just as good on a house as they are on your sofa.

Dots: a timeless solution to an excess of sensibleness.

The pattern is the set. Your room is the stage. 🎪
