🍂 A Wonderful Afternoon of Baking

It was a perfect afternoon, with just a touch of autumn in the air, as our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of baking bread and scones. 🥖🧁

There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked treats filling the room — and even better, enjoying a warm, freshly baked scone with jam and cream alongside a comforting cup of tea! ☕️🍓

Earlier in the morning, we were also delighted to welcome our regular visitors, Thula and Didi, for their much-loved dog therapy session. 🐾❤️ Their visits are always warmly welcomed and bring plenty of smiles and cuddles.

A lovely day filled with good food, friendship, furry friends and plenty of happy memories. 💕🍂

What a fun afternoon we had with our residents! 😊

We headed out for a bit of a wander, stopping off at a Esquires coffee shop for some well-deserved refreshments. There was plenty of chatting, laughter and a little bit of (faffing about!) along the way. ☕😂 It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, catching up and simply having a good time together.

We had a browse around the Thames Hospice charity shop. You never know what treasures you might find, and our residents certainly enjoyed having a good rummage! 🛍️ From spotting interesting items to sharing memories and opinions, there was something to smile about around every corner.

Days like this are all about friendship, choice, independence and making memories. It was fantastic to see our residents out and about in the community, enjoying the simple pleasures of a coffee, a chat and a good old-fashioned browse around the shops. ❤️

Here’s to many more adventures, plenty more laughs and, of course, more coffee! ☕💕

A huge thank you to everyone from the Christian Youth Group who came to sing for our residents. 💙

Not only did they share their singing, but they also took the time to chat and spend quality time with everyone. It was heartwarming to see young people connecting with our older generation, creating smiles, laughter, and wonderful conversations.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the visit, and we're sure it will be a cherished memory for everyone involved.

Thank you also for your thoughtful gifts—they were greatly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
