This design came to light last year when I was totally obsessed with the idea of making a felt veg patch. It was put on hold until late winter just gone, and under went a glow up, I was totally inspired by the velvet strawberry trend I’d seen on Pinterest!
Each velvet strawberry, which delicately hangs from a machine stitched cluster of leaves, has hand stitched seed detail, and is topped with a calyx. The flowers are made to a self to a self drafted pattern, of 6 delicate off white petals.
Please note that each product is unique and no two will ever be quite the same, despite following patterns! Strawberry colour and size combinations can be customised! Please contact me for commission pieces. All prices do not include postage, this will be an additional fee calculated for your order.

* I’ve mentioned before that I started making these from eye, before I had any patterns, and they were the first ever felt brooch I made. My skills have come a long way in a year, and so has my pattern collection! Bouquet brooches are now made to the 1940s pattern.
