A lot of people ask me where the name Bahookie Dukes comes from:⁠

I wanted something that sounded a little Scottish and a little gay, so I took the Scots word 'Bahookie' which means bum and the Duke is a nod to the Duke of Wellington statue here in Glasgow.⁠

Combined I thought they sounded like an old fashioned Glesga slur which I just loved, and so here we are!⁠
