🤔 It has been a while but you might recognise this wee page from the depths of the pandemic - we really hope each and every one of you are in a better situation since then!

👀 Looking back, for us, this was a way to fill those empty days with a bit of creativity, fun, and learning along with the attraction of being able to give something back to those less fortunate than ourselves.

😕 As you might be able to tell, we had to shut down shop pretty quickly. We quickly came to understand just how much work goes into running something even as small as this, and with life and work commitments coming thick and fast, Function Meets Form simply couldn't continue.

🤗 As we come back round to winding up all the threads that made this happen (more than you'd think!), we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to all our customers and supporters. You helped us to remain engaged in the midst of a bleak time, and we are so grateful for you helping us on our short journey. We also want to take a second to encourage you, where you can, to support your local businesses during these times - from our very limited experience, running a small business is tough stuff!

❣️ We also wanted to let you know that we made the decision to donate any profit from your purchases to Maggie's Centre, an amazing organisation that provides support for people affected by cancer. It was a small way for us to give back and support a cause that is close to our hearts.

We are sad to say goodbye, but we are grateful for what we learned through this, and the small impact we were able to make. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Hi everyone, hope you've had a splendid day so far 😎 Some specifics on how we're helping fund the fight against Covid-19 in this post 🏥

In short, 20% of any profits we make will be going toward causes important to us 🥰 Half of that will be going towards funding PPE manufacturers and the other half will go to charities/organisations OF YOUR CHOICE 🙌

We have been in touch with various groups who are making PPE in order to work out where our donations can have maximum impact 👊 At the moment, we are finalising details with an Edinburgh-based group who are producing face visors for hospital staff 🚑We will share them with you once all the details confirmed!

The other half of our donation will be going to causes that YOU care about most! To start us off, we will make our donation to an organisation I (Duncan) have had the pleasure to volunteer for over the past couple months - Glasgow's Golden Generation 💛 This organisation usually runs day centres for Glasgow's over 50s who are at risk of hunger and isolation. During covid-19, they have been delivering food supplies to people's doors - particularly those who who are shielding right now. They are a great organisation and we are happy to help support even in just a small way 😊 We would love to keep you involved in choosing where the donations from your purchases go, watch this space!

Our donations will be made every month and we will keep you posted on their progress. We really mean it when we say thank you - none of this would be possible without you! Oh, and we hope you like the pins too! 🥳
