Mithril Jewellery is a jewellery design studio located on the Southside of Glasgow only a few hundred yards from Langside monument which was built in 1886 to commemorate the 1568 Battle of Langside. The Golden Age of Celtic Art and the Art Nouveau movement have inspired Russell to produce exceptional quality pieces, using traditional hand finishing methods. You can recognise a style in each piece of Russell’s work whether it is Celtic or Art Nouveau. Each individually designed piece is produced in high-quality silver and gold with bears the hallmark of the Edinburgh Assay Office determining the quality and authenticity of the metals used. Russell has incorporated semi-precious stones, enamelling jewellery within his work.
