Well, I've been very quiet, even more so than normal. The reason for this is that I've been hired full time as a cake decorator! My passions were always divided between the two, fashion and food. So my job and my hobby have switched places! I'll still be making hats, but more for fun than money. If you want to see what I can do with sugar instead of straw, go look at The Little Cake Parlour, because that's my new home! See you soon. :D

Oh, I've not been posting much at all really, have I?! I've been keeping busy though, I'm helping create accessories for my friend's craft fair stall. Rings, brooches, corsages, necklaces, hair clips, and of course, Christmas Tree Baubles!! All manner of lovely things, and photos to follow. :)

Met with a lovely Bride on Friday, and as luck would have it, she wants a veil in a design I'm desperate to try! I'm hoping to get to make something for the Mother of the Bride too. She's one of my favourites!

Well THAT was a busy weekend! Four unique bespoke hats, and one pearl and crystal jewellery set, all collected today. I had some wine when the last one was collected, a gift from a happy customer. By God it was delicious...

Ooooh, remind me never to say that I'm quiet again! Four hats in progress, and three pieces of jewellery in progress, all due at the end of this month. Even dreaming about them! Disappointing to wake up and find the lovely things I made in my sleep weren't real. :)

I know I've been really quiet for a while, but I'm making up for it now! A consultation last night for a Mother of the Groom turned into a booking for three hats, a necklace, earrings and bracelet set, and referrals and styling advice for everybody.
