WNC comes to an end.
One year ago, WNC took a break from making fun T-Shirts because we felt it would be irresponsible to ask people to spend money on our stuff when they didn’t know what their future held. Ironically, we didn’t know what our own would hold.
Today we were supposed to be showing you SESSION 4: The Comeback Kid - but the reality is the kids moved on slightly.
When it comes to our remaining stock, it’s simple: every sale of our KOI shirts will continue to be split between BLM and The Scottish Black Business Fund, as we said last year.
For every other item, 100% of each sale will be donated to Sacro, a community safety project throughout Scotland, and ideally to their organisation Aditi, which bring support to BAME women in Edinburgh.
For the two of us that got to make this REALLY fun project work, we’ve both moved on A LOT with our lives since last November, and the things I promised then have changed as a result.
Life moves on, but I will always be thankful for the people that have supported this brand so greatly - you brought me so much joy, and I hope you still enjoy wearing what we’ve made 🙌🏻
Continue to care about language, and find the fun in quotes. I’m sure I’ll have a notes pad with random phrases on it forever now - and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
