I was asked by a customer to make a top for this build-a-bear teddy using a top belonging to her partner’s late grandfather. I made a pattern using teddy’s measurements and cut out a new top from the shirt. It was a lovely job to do and so nice to hear her partner was thrilled with his gift.

This jumpsuit was made as an alternative to a traditional bridesmaid dress for a young girl. Made from triple crepe fabric, the jumpsuit opens with a back zipper (sorry no picture of the back) and the legs are lined in a lightweight lining. The sleeves are ‘cold shoulder’ and are softly draped, the waist is elasticated and finished with a self fabric tie belt. Self drafted using customers’ own measurements.

Sarah Sanderson costume made for a little girl for Christmas. I didn’t know who Sarah Sanderson was but now know she is from Hocus Pocus and is the little girl’s favourite character. An adult size 12 bridesmaid dress was brought to alter to fit an age 7. I took the dress apart, drafted a pattern to fit the child and recut the new dress from the original. Child was delighted with her new dress.
