There’s something timeless about the Mackay tartan.

With its rich greens, deep navy tones, and strong Highland character, it’s a tartan that stands out while still feeling classic and traditional. Clan Mackay comes from the far north of the Scottish Highlands, around Strathnaver in Sutherland, and has a long history dating back centuries.

Whether in the Modern or Ancient colours, the Mackay tartan always makes a beautiful kilt and is one of those patterns that looks even better once it’s shaped into the pleats
