Honouring the Winter

For those of us standing at the Great Unknown amidst the holiday fireworks - uprooted and wide~eyed ~ I want to say: It is ok.

It is Ok to Not feel festive. It is Ok to feel sadness. It ok to NOT KNOW what comes next. It is ok to honor this deep liminal space....
It is Ok to not having 'cleaned house and written NY resolutions.'

It is Ok to stand in in the Void, which is this time in the year energetically, strangely with all the extroverted 'stuff' plastered on top of the 'depth of winter' for so many of us in the inner scapes. It is Ok to honor our true need in spite of the 'social consensus.' Those who love us will inner~stand.

Sending love from my introverted cocoon through the void to any other souls 'in the Void.'

Light will return in its time. Spring will come. And...the time 'under the snows' is sacred too.

To the River
Her ebbs and flow

To the perfect imperfections
Of the body

To the inherent loneliness of being
That is never truly alone
If we remember One

To the uncertainty of life
And to the knowing
That we are held
Through every unknown step

To the knowing that life goes on
In spite of Death
Of our Dear ones
Of our own....

To the in and out-breath,
The pulse of life

The times of plenty
The times of none

To the knowing
of our infinity
And our smallness
Before the Great Ocean
Before the elements

Surrendering over and over.
Forgetting, resisting,
Surrender....again.
And again
And again.

Divinity knowing itself
Through the human condition.
Here.
Now.
