Hand crafted textiles are considered pieces, carrying tradition and connection.
This Nuno felt jacket is made by hand from fiber to finish. Panels created by wet felting British wool and plant fibers which are shrunk together to create unique textiles, then cut and stitched to make one of a kind art jackets.

Using British wool feels like an important step as a British Felt maker. Championing our incredible fiber that is in such an abundance in this country. And that is undervalued as a product snd where the farmers themselves are not valued.
This piece is made with my favourite of felting wools, British Bluefaced Leicester, wet felted onto fine cotton along with plant fibers to make this unique seamless sculptural waistcoat.

Traditional craft in fashion. Wearing garments made by hand carry a conscious presence from fiber to fabric. Carefully and slowly created.
These handmade Nuno felted vests are made in one piece, no seams , wool and plant fibers wet felted onto fine cotton, fibers shrunk and manipulated by hand to create each unique garment.
