Welcome to the Perth Festival of Yarn 2022 Reveal Day!
All things come to those who wait and what a programme we have curated for our return to the Dewars Centre on 10 and 11 September.
We have an abundance of businesses making up our Vendors' Gallery Marketplace which is always the most anticipated feature of Perth Festival of Yarn; the place to find materials and inspiration for your future crafting projects, the chance to meet and talk with the makers behind your favourite independent brands, to indulge in a little celebrity spotting.
Famed as the event for discovering and supporting up-and-coming fibre businesses since 2016, you'll also find veterans of our Community who have travelled the length and breadth of the UK to converge in Perth for our annual celebration. Featured in our collage are Emily Cross Ceramics, Unaroo Designs, Aister 'oo', Zakami, The Cocoon Tree, Flora Fibres: Artisan Vegan Yarn, Edelweiss Fibres, and Trava & Wool. As part of our wider Festival Programme we have 3 inpiring talks: Amy Palko - Curating Perfect Colour Palettes and My Love For Stephen West's Shawls; Estelle Hughes β HΓΆnsestrik: Radical Knitting; and Sara Fowles - The Evolution of Creative Practice.
We are delighted to share that our fringe social events are back. This year we bring you An Evening with Moorit and the Journal of Scottish Yarns (tickets include a light supper), and our Gala Dinner with entertainment from Ruth Martin (and optional tour of The Perth Distillery Co.)
The Yarn Unique Lounge is the place to arrange to meet your friends or join one of the many scheduled meet-ups we'll host here over the weekend, including your chance to meet your favourite podcasters. Our thanks go to Caroline for her sponsorship.
Every year we are joined by a plethora of podcasters who cover a range of textile disciplines on their various channels and this year is no different. Find out which podcasters have already reached out to us by email to let us know that they will be making the journey to Perth.

Can't wait for tickets? These will be released on our website at 7pm BST on 2 July.
