💫 I know that you are on a journey to become the best version of yourself, and it's not an easy task.

We all have our insecurities and internal battles. But it's important to remember that you are not alone in this journey.

Finding your place and fitting in can be a challenge, especially in a world that often seems to not understand our struggles and our essence.

But don't let that stop you from being who you are and fighting for what you want. You are unique and special, and you have so much to offer to the world.

Confidence is a key component in this journey.

Feeling confident in yourself can open doors and opportunities that once seemed impossible.

But sometimes, confidence can be hard to come by. I know that you may feel like you're not good enough or that you don't have the necessary skills to achieve your dreams.

But I want to tell you that this is not true.

You have incredible potential within you.

Don't let your insecurities prevent you from reaching your goals.

Be kind to yourself and celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem.

Remember that the path to success is not always easy, but it's worth persisting.

I’ve got short story to tell you, well it’s actually an ongoing story.

Since I was very young I’ve dreamed about being a speaker.

I used to stand in my sitting room and pretend I was speaking to many. 😆 At the time I had absolutely no idea what I would be talking about but it was always relate to make people to realises that everything that they need was already there.

When I moved to Ireland/ England and English became the most common language spoken around me it felt my dream would never be achieve. Like, one thing is to be a speaker in my mother languagbut to be a speaker in English is another level! No way I would be able to do it …

This, please the fact that I always underestimate things that I’ve achieved, plus the challenges that life has thrown the past few years maybe me feel like the dream would never be achieved.

But life is a Pandora box, I didn’t know it was preparing me to become strong and building up the courage to take action.

And in a time that I least expected to have the COURAGE/ CONFIDENCE to start doing it was the time that I felt most ready! (Super crazy)

It’s not like I didn’t feel fear anymore. I still do! It’s that I’ve decided that fear will not stop me ….

Since I’ve taken this approach mad things has been happening and I’m grateful and open for it.

So. I’m writing all of that to announce that I was invited to speak at the Female Festival Gloucester!

Tonight is the night. A moment that I have been dreaming of, a moment that fills my heart with emotions that words can hardly express. This morning, as I took a minute to reflect on my journey, tears of gratitude flowed from my eyes.

In that moment, I was taken back to my childhood. I saw my mother's loving face, my siblings and I playing and laughing together, and my aunts looking at me with pride and joy. I remembered the community that I grew up in, where everyone looked out for each other and shared in both good times and bad.

I thought about the day I left Brazil, not speaking a single word of English, and the challenges that came with moving to a new country. I remembered the fear of the unknown, the loneliness of missing my family and friends, and the struggles of finding my footing in a foreign land.

But I also remembered the strength and courage that I found within myself to rise above those challenges. The moments when I felt lost and broken, and the times when I had to pick myself up and keep moving forward.

I thought about the ups and downs of SDS BRAND, the passing of my beloved mother, and the struggles that my marriage faced. But even in those moments of darkness, I found the courage to keep going. I realized that courage is the new confidence.

And so tonight, I will stand at Cheltenham Ladies College, I am filled with gratitude for everything that has led me to this moment. Every joy, every struggle, every triumph, and every failure has shaped me into the person I am today.

I am grateful for the courage that has saved me time and time again. And I hope that my story can inspire others to find their own courage, to keep pushing forward no matter what life throws their way.

Throwback to 2013, when I did a breathtaking photoshoot in Ireland just a few weeks before my first ever body fitness competition. It was such a special time in my life - I finally saw in myself what I used to admire in other women. Consistency, discipline, and passion made me feel alive. Having a purpose is a game changer! Although my goals and dreams have shifted since then, the lessons of time, patience, and consistency equal strength still remain with me. Let this inspire you to stay consistent and follow your passions - the sky is the limit! 🌟💪
