Hi everyone, nothing new to post this summer, I have broken my ankle and cant get into my studio for a while. Still some ready made stock in my etsy shop andrehats which I am managing to post out with the help of my husband and the PO collection service.

It's that time of year again, time to put the winter hats away and concentrate on my first love, occasion hats! Busy making some new designs, I enjoy colour, this is a lovely striking colour combination, a royal blue and lime green fascinator on matching handmade padded lime green sinamay headband. The headband is part of the overall design and not meant to be hidden on this one. Available in my Etsy shop andreahats.

I love pixie hats, I find them fun and interesting. Pixie hats first became popular in the mid 30's continuing until the 60's. one of the most famous pixie hats made was a purple velvet one by Dior. This small selection is my 'nod' to this cute iconic shape. These pixie hats are available in my Etsy shop

Well Golspie Inn Xmas fair was a bit disappointing with only 5 stallholders, presumably because of the frosty weather. I did alright though making a few sales and good feedback for my kitten and foxy beanies. These will be listed in my Etsy shop andreahats this week when I have photographed them. I am showcasing a collection of winter hats at two Xmas Markets. Fountain Road Hall tomorrow Sat 18th Nov at10-3pm and Golspie Inn on the 3rd of December. All my hats are designed and made by me and not available on the high street. Please support local business and two local charities. Hope to see you there. Andrea
