👻 WE MADE A MISTAKE... 👻

We hired Slimer.

It's been less than 10 minutes and he's already:

🧸 Claimed a Care Bear as his emotional support plush.
🎮 Tried to play a Game Boy upside down.
⚔️ Started "borrowing" Star Wars collectibles.
🚨 Had a full-blown panic attack when he spotted the Ghostbusters shelf.

HR have asked us to "monitor the situation."

We're just hoping he doesn't eat the stock... or the customers.

🎉👻 COMPETITION WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT! 👻🎉

Well… you lot definitely kept us entertained! 😂

We had loads of guesses for Superman’s replacement in our window, but here’s the twist…

🟢 Nobody guessed Slimer! 👻

So yes… the big green blob is officially moving into the Curiosity Classics window!

However…

We were originally due to have a life-size Freddy Krueger taking over the display, but sadly he arrived damaged in transit. Apparently even nightmares aren’t safe with some couriers. 😭🔪

Because of that, we’ve decided to award the prize to the person who guessed Freddy Krueger and received the most likes on their comment.

So naturally, rather than replacing him with one sensible display piece, we’ve gone completely off the rails and ordered several life-size replacements. 😅

They’re currently in transit and should be arriving soon…

Some are heroes.
Some are villains.
Some are the sort of thing that would make you cross the road if you saw them standing in a dark alley.

And a couple of them do more than just stand there looking creepy… 👀

BREAKING NEWS:

Local shop accidentally becomes actual news.

We've spent ages telling people we're a big deal. The BBC finally fell for it.

So yes, Curiosity Classics has officially been featured on BBC News.

We'll try not to let this go to our heads. We're already difficult enough to live with.

To celebrate our newfound celebrity status, we're considering:
✅ Selling our autographs to customers
✅ Referring to ourselves as "BBC personalities"
✅ Increasing prices by absolutely nothing because nobody would pay it

Thanks to everyone who's supported us. You're the reason we've gone from a daft idea selling retro games and collectibles to being on BBC News.

Next stop: Netflix biopic...…

(Or more realistically, sorting through another box of retro toys.)
