🎨✨ WHAT’S HAPPENING AT SPOTLIGHT TOMORROW? ✨🎨

Tomorrow afternoon, Art Masters are taking over the studio for a brilliant Printmaking Workshop for young artists aged 6+!

Children will get hands-on with lots of different printmaking techniques, including collagraph printing, gelli printing, monoprinting, cyanotypes and more — and they’ll head home with their own original artwork too. 🖌️💛

🎨 Discover the world of Printmaking!

Join us for a hands-on workshop where young artists will explore some of the oldest and most exciting ways of making art!

During the afternoon we'll experiment with a variety of printmaking techniques, discovering how artists throughout history have created beautiful images using texture, layers, light and colour.

✨ We'll explore:
• Collagraph printing
• Gelli printing
• Monoprinting
• Textured printing
• Cyanotypes (sun prints!)
• Block printing

Every child will take home:
🎨 A collection of their own original prints
📚 An Art Masters information sheet to continue learning at home
🖐️ Printing and collagraph plates (created by themselves) they can reuse again and again!

Young Artists Will Discover...

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Limitless Inverclyde to our growing Spotlight Studio family! ⭐

Limitless is all about friendship, fun, inclusion, confidence and community, creating a welcoming space where everyone can feel included, valued and encouraged to be themselves. 💜

Very soon they’ll be making Spotlight their home every Tuesday evening, and we couldn’t be happier to have them!

🧘‍♀️🌿 NEW TO SPOTLIGHT STUDIO! 🌿👶

We’re delighted to be welcoming Lotus Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga to Spotlight Studio! ✨

Starting Monday 17th August, the studio will be home to a lovely Mum & Baby Yoga class – offering mums the chance to move, relax and enjoy some special time with their little ones in a welcoming and supportive environment. 💕

We absolutely love seeing our studio being used for new classes and bringing even more opportunities into our space! 🥰

✨ We are absolutely delighted to see the fantastic new window artwork at Spotlight Studio, created by the incredibly talented Dave for Clyde Youth Theatre’s upcoming production of The Little Mermaid JR. 🧜‍♀️🐠🫧

The artwork has brought so much colour and excitement to the studio frontage and is already putting smiles on the faces of people passing by. We especially love the bubbles added by members of the public while Dave was working – a lovely touch of community spirit! 💙

As the home of Clyde Youth Theatre, we are proud to support our young performers as they prepare for what promises to be another fantastic production.

A huge thank you to Dave for his creativity and hard work – you’ve done an amazing job! 👏

We are absolutely delighted with our brand-new window art for our upcoming production of The Little Mermaid JR. The detail, colour and creativity are incredible, and it’s already catching the attention of everyone passing by. Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian have certainly made themselves at home at Clyde Youth Theatre! 🐠🦀🫧

A special mention also goes to the wonderful passers-by who stopped to add some of the bubbles while Dave was working. We love that our window became a little community project, with people of all ages getting involved and leaving their mark. 💙

🌟 It's an exciting week at Spotlight Studio! 🌟

We're thrilled to have so much creativity and talent filling our space this week.

🧜‍♀️ Clyde Youth Theatre are holding auditions for their upcoming production of The Little Mermaid Jr. We can't wait to see the incredible young performers showcase their talents and begin their journey towards what is sure to be a fantastic show.

🎨 We're also delighted to welcome Art Masters as they host their very first classes at Spotlight Studio. Starting a new venture is always exciting, and we know participants are going to have a wonderful time exploring their creativity.

✨ Exciting News! ✨

After much thought, I'm delighted to announce that Props to You is now Spotlight Studio! 🌟

While our name has changed, everything you know and love about what we do remains the same. In fact, this new name better reflects everything that happens within our space and the wide range of services, events, creativity and opportunities we offer.

As we've grown and evolved, it felt like the right time for a name that truly captures the energy, talent and community that make this place so special. Spotlight Studio puts the focus where it belongs – on you, your celebrations, your creativity and your moments to shine.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Props to You over the last couple of years. I'm so excited for this next chapter and can't wait to continue welcoming you to Spotlight Studio. ✨
