Dear All,

There are some days left to ‘Music for a Sunday Afternoon’ at 3pm on 28th April in Holy Trinity Church, Bramley, and there is still space so do get in touch to book your tickets, or pop into Robertsons to buy them (cash only) in person. Details on the attached poster. We are very lucky to have such talented local musicians in Sarah and Clem Pickering, whose programme starts with Chopin’s well known Ballade No 1 in G minor Op 23 for piano solo, which Chopin himself said was his favourite of all his compositions, which is saying something. The programme continues with (for viola and piano): Schumann’s Märchenbilder Op 113, Hindemith’s Viola Sonata Op 11 No 4, and Brahms’ Sonata Op 120 in Eb. These are all beautiful works, and well worth coming to listen to. It’s also an opportunity to support the charity Oakleaf (https://www.oakleaf-enterprise.org) which does extremely valuable and practical work in our local area helping adults with mental illness.

Make sure you stay for tea and cake after the concert, kindly provided by the ‘home team’ at Holy Trinity!

It was a grey autumn men’s suite, which didn’t fit anybody in the family, was wearied one time only and cleaned afterwards. It spend for many years in wardrobe and in many years it had been brought to us for advice what to do. We combine it with jeans and altered for woman. Would you like it?
