As we make our way through our summer 2026 brides, we start thinking ahead to what the following year holds….

Booking for 2027 weddings is now open, and I have to say WOW, how many amazingly super organised brides have already been in touch!

We highly recommend getting your place booked early…..this year I have turned away an unprecedented amount of last minute brides or those that haven’t been advised to book their seamstress early. Don’t let that be you!

I often say that I get the loveliest brides, and it’s true!

This gorgeous lady wasn’t a bride of mine for alterations but she wanted her gown cleaned and boxed so here we are ❤️ one happy bride and mum later!

This gown wasn’t a simple clean, it was a complex gown with lots of details, silk elements and zibeline lining, so needed lots of TLC, and a gentle touch. I’m thrilled with how she turned out, but most importantly of all, so is the bride ❤️

Bridal gown cleaning and preservation 🎁

Did you know we offer a full bridal gown (and veil) cleaning service! We lovingly clean your gown after the big day, press each layer and then fold your gown to fit into one of specialist preservation boxes. Wrapped in acid free tissue and snugly tucked into your chosen box, our preservation service is the perfect way to store your stunning gown for years to come.

Due to supplier price increases our cleaning and preservation service will be going up from 1st July. Unfortunately as a small business we’ve swallowed the cost increases as long as we can. If you think you want to get your gown cleaned and boxed now is the perfect time to get booked in!

How absolutely gorgeous does Maxine look in her stunning Milla Nova gown…..with additional split! Well worth all the working out and angst, this dress was not designed to have a split and it wasn’t easy to add 😬 but it was SO worth it!

You love your gown, but something feels slightly off….

Sometimes it can be the dress of your dreams but there’s just a little something that isn’t quite right! In this case the sweetheart neckline just wasn’t the right cut for my bride, she preferred a straighter neckline. Due to the bodice depth and generous cups we were able to lower it and create the new neckline.

She’s off for a special bridal clean now as she was an off the peg gown, once she’s back we’ll post pics or her looking crisp and clean 😍
