I started the business in 2015, tie dyeing clothes in my kitchen. Over the years my business has grown, and I now specialise in funky tie dye that you might not find anywhere else, such as dungarees, circle dresses and trainers. During the Summer months, I trade at festivals, and for the rest of the year you will find me in my workshop, up to my elbows in tie dye. Recently I have started selling the dyes that I import from America which means that everyone can have as much fun as I do by creating funky, unique clothes.

Well that’s a wrap for festival season 2026.

As usual it was full of highs and lows, but it’s amazing how quickly you forget the bits you want to!

From spending time with my wonderful festival family, to discovering a flat tyre whilst stuck in a field. Seeing a surprise Frank Turner set at Bearded Theory, to watching helplessly as a flash flood turned our stall into a swimming pool.

We’ve played endless games of Top Trumps and Sh****ad (or Sheep Dip if you’re with kids!), laughed our arses off, raised many a drink with friends, held each other for a much needed cry, celebrated birthdays, eaten A LOT of cake, crocheted a cardigan, celebrated the wins and shelved the losses to deal with at another time.

There are always times during the season that I question why we do it, but ultimately I know the answer is that we love it, and once the dust has settled and we have caught up on our sleep we will start looking forward to what 2027 will bring.

The next few weeks will be full of admin, stock takes, reflection and much procrastination, but then I’ll be back at it in my workshop, whipping up a storm of colour.

The problem with only being at home for 3 days between festivals is that 3 days is not enough when you are too tired to think straight.
Yesterday was spent washing, today is unpacking the van and restocking boxes, and tomorrow will be food shopping and repacking the van.
I can’t figure out the stupid ratchet strap so everything fell over in the van and now I want to have a tantrum and give up.

Sometimes having to be an adult really sucks.

What a week! Thank you so much to everyone who visited us at Beautiful Days. We’ve been rushed off our feet but had a blast.
From catching up with old customers to meeting new ones, I honestly feel so humbled by every single person who shops with me.

Highlights have been La Navet Bete which is my yearly tradition with the kids, dancing my socks off to Gogol Bo****lo and spending time with some of our festival family. We have laughed, cried, chatted s**t for hours and drank a fair amount of booze.

I’ll see you all next year, facing the (increasingly jazzy) disco tree.
